The "Praxis Publishing House for German as a Foreign Language" has dedicated itself from the beginning to the exclusive production of teaching materials for German as a Foreign Language. The publishing house was founded in Athens in 1985 and its founder, Spiros Koukidis, German teacher and author, is still head of the editorial department.

Due to our many years of experience in the field of GFL, we have a deep knowledge of the market and are very familiar with the needs of both learners and teachers.

Our goal is to satisfy these needs, with learner-friendly, innovative teaching materials written by a team of experienced German teachers. In the foreground stands both the teaching and deepening of language skills as well as the preparation for the various Goethe-Institute exams from level A1 to C2. At the same time, we offer various course-related teaching materials.

The ideas for most of our projects are born, developed and tested in the language institute "Germanika Koukidis", an institution based in Athens since 1979, where only German is taught, as well as in several private schools with which we work closely.

Since 2012 we have begun to sell our books actively in foreign markets and the feedback we have been getting is astonishing. Within this scope, in 2018 we started a cooperatation with the company Stanley Publishing, which represents and sells our books in Spain.
